Central Mailing of New York Anti-Spamming Policy

At Central Mailing of New York we prohibit spam. In the interest of creating and maintaining an ethical and professional service, we do not support the distribution of unsolicited e-mail. Not only is it a nuisance and a waste of other people's valuable time and in-box space, a glut of unasked for messages tends to be ignored over time and becomes an ineffective way to communicate with your public.

In order to sign up for our services, your subscribers must have made a request to be placed on your mailing list. To ensure this practice, we require that our customers use an opt-in or double opt-in (i,e, 2nd verification) method of validating subscriber requests to be added to a mailing list.

Clients must explicitly provide you with permission to send them newsletters or messages in order to be considered opt-in subscribers. Prior authorization to e-mail sales receipts, order confirmations, or other business communication, does not constitute permission to send newsletters.

All subscribers need not contact you directly to provide their permission to receive newsletters and other communications. Subscribers who participate in third party lists and provide those third parties authorization to share a subscriber's e-mail address or send information from affiliated enterprises, are considered opt-in subscribers.
